The function "Activate plant" is available for offline and online plants. In the program, the plant is entered on the Assigned list with "Activate".

An 'Alarm' is a general event requiring the attention of the user in the Climatix Internet Cloud. In other words, it designates an incident but not necessarily an emergency. Alarms can have different priorities: From a very low priority that requires no action (for example, by reaching certain thresholds), up to events with a very high priority that require swift action from the user (such as faults that may cause damage to property). An alarm is saved as a separate data entry in Climatix IC. The data entry can be evaluated and filtered. Alarms and events are based on the Climatix alarm model.

'Board Support Package'. Refers to the controller operating software.

Climatix IC is a cloud-based application for remote service and efficient operation of Climatix controllers.

On Climatix IC: Specific data points that generate and send data or receive data. They can either be IoT (Internet of Things) objects, such as sensors, control units or similar, or virtual objects, such as online settings, parameter files or similar. Cloud items enable data transfer, monitoring of settings, defaults for device control, access control, data analysis, connections between objects etc.

Older payment model for subscriptions. Customer purchase 'Credits’ that are then used for services and data. The 'Post-Pay’ payment model has replaced it.

The entry Distributor (also referred to as Tenant-Key) ensures that a controller logs on at the desired tenant. There are two possible entries: 1. On the controller > CSL-Config > Distributor. 2. In Climatix IC, as part of registration.

A firewall protects networks against unauthorized access from the outside. Firewalls are hardware and/or software measures designed to control data exchanges between the private network to be protected and the unsecured network (e.g. the Internet).

Main-Tenant and Sub-Tenant have a 1 to n relationship. The Main-Tenant, for example, is an OEM and the Sub-Tenant could be a regional company.

Data points consist of so-called members. The most important member of a data point is generally the present value.

MFA = Multi-factor authentication. Double protection in the Climatix IC registration procedure by including a second identification stage outside Climatix IC.

In the basic structure for Climatix IC, one plant corresponds to one physical controller. And yet a Climatix IC plant is not the same as a controller: Not all data points are mapped to the cloud and, conversely, not all plant data is maintained in the cloud, i.e. above and beyond the controller data points. Virtual Cloud Items (VCIs) and Virtual Cloud Plants (VCPs) further extend the original concept (see description:'Virtiual Cloud Items(VCIs) and Virtual Cloud Plants (VCPs).

Subscription payment model. The use of services and data is billed to the customer after each use. Replaces the outdated 'Credit’-based payment model.

A role (e.g. owner) is comprised of the Scope access level and granted privileges on the portal. In other words, it corresponds to a specific user role within the rights management for Climatix IC.

(en: subscription). There are 2 basic types of available subscriptions: The 'Annual' and the 'Monthly' subscription.

Tenant is the same here as company or organization. An area can be set up for each company/organization that individualizes the cloud-based application for the customer and closes it off to the outside world.

The Tenant Administrator role is one of multiple portal roles. The Tenant Administrator manages plants and users within its tenant space.

Tenant-Key is synonymous with distributor. As part of registration, the tenant-key is generally a Sub-Tenant-key, intended to move the plant to the desired Sub-Tenant.
