Edit alarm type

Existing alarm types↑ can be adapted as needed. This can be useful, for example, when the automatic system that triggers an alarm changes—such as when new technical devices are integrated in the plant. Proceed as follows:

  1. An alarm type is available.
  1. Go to 'Alarm Dashboard > Configuration >Alarm types'.
  2. Select an existing alarm type there.
  3. The 'Alarm type' dialog box displays the properties for the selected alarm type.
  4. Select ‘Edit‘.
  5. Edit the properties of the alarm type according to the defaults in 'Create alarm type'.
  6. Climatic IC sets the 'Alarm ID' and 'Alarm class' and cannot be changed.
  7. Select ‘Save‘.
  1. The edited alarm type is saved.
