Create root causes recommendations

  1. Select 'Root causes'.
  2. Display the "Root causes" view.
  3. Select ‘+ Add‘ (1).
  4. The 'Basic root causes and recommended actions' dialog opens.
  5. Enter a descriptive text in the 'Label' (2) field.
    The name is used in the Rule Editor as the root cause for the root cause property (see 'Menu Rule Editor').

    INFO: Correctly define the priority and acknowledge type for each AlarmOutput node in Rule Editor.
  6. Enter a root cause in the 'Description' (3) field.
  7. Enter the first instruction in the 'Recommended actions' field (4).
  8. Select (5).
  9. Enter an additional instruction in the Recommended actions field.
  10. (5) repeat the selection and process as often as needed.
    INFO: The cause can only be saved when completed with + (empty entry).
  11. Move '' to sort the sequence of the actions (6).
  12. Delete '' unnecessary actions with (7).
  13. Select Save (8).
  1. Root cause version 1 is saved and can be used in Rule Editor.
