Frequent alarm types
The "Frequent alarm types" function can:
- Sort alarm types by the number of incoming alarms↑.
- Count the number of occurrences per alarm type.
- Rank the frequency of occurrence of alarm types.
- Go to menu "Alarm Dashboard > KPIs > Frequent alarm types".
- Select one or more desired alarm types using filters (1).
- A new window 'Advance filter search' opens.
- Filter desired plants (see 'Advanced filter search by plants with an alarm').
- The number of displayed filterable plants depends on the selected period (2). Only plants with an alarm within the selected period can be selected and displayed using filters.
- Click 'Apply' to apply the filter.
- Enter the period (2) to display the alarm types.
- The longer the period, the higher the probability of finding alarm types with alarms.
- Displays filtered alarm types in a chart (3).
- Each bar represents an alarm type.
- The size of the bar represent the number of plants during the selected period.
- Move the mouse pointer over individual chart bars.
- The name and frequency of stored alarm type display (4).
- Select an individual bar by clicking it.
- The selected bar is highlighted in color (5).
- In the default view, the bar representing the most frequently occurring alarm types is always selected first.
- Details of the alarm types highlighted in the chart display (6).
- The plants that have reported an alarm of the alarm type highlighted in the diagram are displayed in a list (7). This includes:
The number and priority of reported alarms of the highlighted alarm type.
Name and address of the impacted plant.
A link to 'History of plant alarms': Click '' to open menu 'Alarms > Plants' in a new window (See 'View of plants with an alarm'). - Click 'Events↑', 'Designation', 'Description' or 'Address' (8).
- The plants are sorted according to their attributes or alphabetically.
- Click the plant name (9) to switch to its Plant Dashboard.
- The "Operation" menu opens in a new window and displays the Plant Dashboard.
