Suppress alarms

Alarms can be suppressed at the plant level. The function can be helpful on plants that produce a high number of alarms that cannot be processed in a reasonable way. For example, frequent alarms can occur with:

• A known malfunction of a plant.
• A maintenance period during which the plant is fully or partially impaired.
• Plant test phases where the various functions are tested and these trigger alarms.

Individual alarms or all plant alarms can be switched off to avoid non-relevant alarms in such a situation. You can specify a specific period for the alarm suppression or for an unlimited period.
